Seoul, South Korea — A three-week academic and cultural experience
 Students immerse themselves in the vibrant city of Seoul, combining classroom learning with hands-on cultural exploration. As part of the course, they also enjoy a three-day trip to Jeju Island—South Korea’s largest island and most popular vacation destination.

About the Trip

One of the most fascinating cities in the world, Seoul is also an exceptionally strong center for business in South Korea. A limited number of FHU business students will learn from leaders in marketing, finance, administration, and more, gaining practical knowledge while being immersed in the rich culture of the South Korean capital city.

*The course will meet once a week during the second 8 weeks of the Spring 2026 semester, allowing greater flexibility for travel and cultural exploration. Both undergraduate and MBA students are eligible to apply for this course. Some scholarships are available.

Dates: Monday, May 18 – Monday, June 8, 2026

Cost: $3,675 per person (double-occupancy). This fee covers travel and accommodation for the 21-day trip, as well as two meals daily.

Bring up to $500 extra for personal shopping, additional meals, and incidental travel expenses.

  • Interact with business leaders in companies such as FedEx, GeneCast, Hacrogen and Hyundai.
  • Visit a section of the Western Demilitarized Zone (DMZ).
  • Try new foods and perfect your skills with chopsticks.
